Novumism

A comprehensive religion, philosophy, and metaphysics

Book I

Novum Carta

The New Charter

Novumism is a religion and a philosophy that blends Hermeticism, Buddhism, and spiritual thought and casts it in a polytheistic worldview. Its religious texts are called the Novum Carta: Novum, meaning new; Carta, meaning charter.

This framework of beliefs attempts to throw off the modern notions of nihilism and consumer culture, and to cast life in a new light. Contained within these pages is a new charter of philosophical and ideological beliefs, borrowing from the old to create the new.

Book II

The Civilizational Man

On ethics, morality, and duty to civilization

The second book in the series can serve both as a detailed expansion of Novum Carta and as a separate entity. Where Novum Carta presents its ideas in a religious framework, this book is more agnostic, concerned with moral and ethical frameworks centering on duty to civilization.

Humanity has survived for hundreds of thousands of years, through cycles of destruction and birth, giving rise to civilizations that rise and fall, and through those times there is a perennial set of rules and laws that allowed humanity to survive.

Book III

The Great Orchestration

The Architecture of the Our Reality

You, me, and everything in the universe exist as a series of Russian dolls, each fitting one inside another. Behind this orchestration stand the general laws, the constants of the system, and its rendering agents. The Great Orchestration is, if you will, the architecture of the Simulation Hypothesis: it describes how reality could be constructed, but not why. The why is perhaps unknowable, and is found in religion, not science.

The work unfolds in two parts: the Infrastructure, the behind-the-scenes code of the universe, and the Orchestration Renderer, the world we touch. It is offered not as dogma to be defended, but as a thought experiment.
